Biography
Asim Roy, MD is the newest member to the General Neurology Division.   He received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and joined the group after relocating to Pittsburgh from Massachusetts.  Dr. Roy completed residency at Georgetown University Hospital and was co-chief resident in neurology and a Sleep Medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Roy’s training emphasized sleep medicine, and he maintains an active Sleep Clinic in the Comprehensive Lung Center evaluating patients with a variety of sleep problems including those with sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, insomnia and coexistent neurological disorders. 

Dr. Roy is an active member of the General Neurology and Sleep Medicine Division through his participation in the outpatient patient clinics, UPMC Presbyterian inpatient neurology residency training and his involvement with the electronic medical record oversight committee.
