Biography

David Watson, MD,has spent the past three years working in The Headache Center, specifically working to grow the Wexford satellite office. During this time he worked with many neurology residents and physical medicine and rehabilitation residents from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as working with numerous medical students. He has been active member of the University of Pittsburgh Institutional Review Board, and teaches the headache section of the third year medical student neurology course. Dr. Watson has presented continuing education lectures to numerous physician groups throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states, including grand rounds presentations.

Dr. Watson’s areas of interest include the use of alternative therapies in headache disorders and the epidemiology of headache in different populations.

Dr. Watson received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his neurology and headache medicine training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.
