Baldwin Receives “Little Apple” Award

Dr. Kelly Baldwin, a neurology resident currently serving her intern year in Internal Medicine, has been awarded a Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching/"Little Apple" award. This honor is awarded by the MS-III class to interns and residents who have distinguished themselves while supervising rotations of MS-III students. The areas of excellence considered by the students are student teaching, team leadership, fund of knowledge, compassionate and humanistic patient care, and service as a mentor and role model. Only three residents and three interns from across the entire housestaff are chosen which makes the awards highly selective. The MS-III class goes on to describe the awardees as "residents and interns who best reflect the highest standards of our profession, as viewed by the Class of 2011".  The recipients will be inducted into the newly-inaugurated Humanism Honor Society.
